LEAD PROGRAMMER

We are looking for a Lead Programmer who is highly experienced in programming console/ PC game titles and working extensively on porting titles from various platforms. You are a product-focused team player that thrives in a highly creative environment. You will be responsible for porting game titles and/or working on tools and technology for the Product Development teams. Key qualifications for this role include good problem-solving skills, the ability to motivate and mentor others, collaborate with other disciplines and a passion for adding the extra polish that that sets the standard within the studio.

Responsibilities:

  • Project’s Due diligence
  • Port / maintain existing code and implement new game features
  • Analyze project requirements and provide realistic estimations
  • Coordinate the team and handle the task management
  • Optimization for systems like: CPU, GPU, framerate, memory usage, load-times, pipeline
  • Implement game optimizations and improve performance
  • Code review, team mentoring and appraisals

Skills & Experience:

  • Mastery of C/C++
  • 5+ years game industry programming experience (PC and console games). Shipped at least 3 games on Xbox One and PS3 / PS4
  • Good software architecture skills and good analytical skills
  • Experience with multiple core systems such as graphics, tools, audio, networking, memory handling, scripting, low-level optimizations, multi-threading techniques
  • Fluent written and spoken Romanian & English

Nice to have:

  • Team leading ability and mentorship experience
  • BS (or higher) in Computer Science or similar discipline (Physics, Math, EE, etc.)
